We met in college at Texas Tech University in the fall of 2008. We had
shared the same lecture and lab class for historical geology, and we ended up
being in the same lab group. That Labor Day weekend was the first time we hung
out outside of class. It wasn't too long until we spent every afternoon
together and became an official couple - October 31, 2008. After a year of dating, we moved in
together, along with our dog-children Max and Chase. About a year after the
passing (and mourning) of Max, we became foster parents for Raider, whom we would later adopt.
The four of us live in Lubbock where Judy is soon-to-be working and Aaron is
pursuing his master's degree in geosciences.
